Combining this powertrain with rear-biased i-ACTIV AWD®, the 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV can tow up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped with an available dealer-installed tow hitch.

    The 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV is built with an e-SKYACTIV®-PHEV powertrain that pairs the SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a 68 kW electric motor to produce a total combined 323 horsepower. Using the PHEV e-SKYACTIV®-Drive 8-speed automatic transmission with Manual-shift, the new Mazda CX-90 PHEV gets a combined 56 MPGe for a total driving range of up to 490 miles, and the SUV produces an impressive all-electric range of 26 miles.

    Combined with Mazda’s rear-biased i-ACTIV AWD®, the 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV responds to your driving and the terrain by putting power where it is needed most in order to adapt to various road conditions. Also, the Mazda CX-90 PHEV’s Mazda Intelligent Drive Select lets drivers switch between five distinct modes, including Normal, Sport, Off-road, available Towing and EV mode, to optimize power delivery and responsiveness. Plus, available Towing Mode on select trims requires use of a Genuine Mazda hitch.

    As Mazda’s most spacious SUV, the 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV offers a 3-seat third row, generous overhead space and impressive cargo capacity. The new Mazda CX-90 PHEV provides flexible seating options, including a standard 2nd-row bench seat with an 8-passenger seating capacity and 60/40 split fold-down and reclining 2nd-row seats with Easy tilt and slide 3rd-row access. Available second-row dual captain’s chairs come with the option of a center console and provide even more space and comfort for up to seven passengers.

    With the 3-person 3rd row, the 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV has up to 14.9 cubic feet of cargo room in the trunk, up to 40.0 cubic feet with the 60/40 split 3rd-row seats folded down and an expansive 74.2 cubic feet with 2nd and 3rd rows folded. The 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV’s 2-person 3rd row variant comes with 15.9 cubic feet of trunk area, 40.1 cubic feet behind the 2nd row and a maximum cargo capacity reaching up to 75.2 cubic feet.
